Since 2017, the Government of Hong Kong has injected more than HK$150 billion into developing the innovation and technology (I&T) sector to position Hong Kong as an international I&T hub. By leveraging Hong Kong’s clear advantages in research capability, two research clusters have been set up, namely Health@InnoHK focusing on healthcare technologies, and AIR@InnoHK focusing on artificial intelligence and robotics technologies. InnoHK provides an excellent platform for training and research collaboration with both local and overseas academic institutions, and translating research outcomes into applications.
This event focuses on AIR@InnoHK and consists of two parts. The first half of the seminar focuses on technology commercialisation, covering Hong Kong’s advanced infrastructures and support services, intellectual property protection, investment landscape and the financial arrangements for spin-offs. In the second half of the seminar, we have invited four renowned researcher from AIR@InnoHK to share the latest development of their research and innovations.
