Marc Washbourne - In-person Co-Founder & CEO Readytech Marc Washbourne is ReadyTech’s Co-Founder and CEO, overseeing its growth from early product development in 199 to leading the ASX-listed technology company with a significant reach across education, workforce management, government and justice sectors – from Australia to a global customer base.
A former software developer, Marc couples his technical background with a commitment to the disciplines of excellence in SaaS driving ReadyTech’s strategy and vision. It’s through this work that Marc was invited to join the board of the Federal Government Digital Skills Organisation which is committed to improving digital skills and industry-ready candidates in Australia as part of the Skills reform agenda.
Seán Halpin - In-person CEO SciDev Seán was recently appointed as SciDev’s CEO. An environmental professional with more than 15-years in the industry Seán was the co-founder and Commercial Director for Haldon Industries, which SciDev acquired in April 2021. During this period, Seán oversaw the strategic direction and significant growth of the water business to the market-leading position it holds today.
Having delivered some of the most complex water treatment projects across the Civil/Infrastructure, Mining, Remediation, Demolition, and Waste Management industries, Seán is focused on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions for clients and shareholders. He has a passion for helping his teams to navigate the commercial and technical complexities of projects and mentoring SciDev’s next generation of leaders.
Nan-Maree Schorie - In-person Managing Director ECS Botanics Nan has held Australian business leader positions of large organisations such as GE, ThermoFisher and Ventia, having shown an ability to deliver extraordinary bottom- and top-line growth across different geographies and industries. Nan’s passion for delivering customer value and her determination to deliver outcomes resulted in enviable customer retention rates whilst regularly securing large annuity contracts, some valued at over $200m.
Nan’s ability to build a strong high growth financial business without compromising her values in sustainability and engagement of customers and employees is already evident in the remarkable performance achieved by ECS under her tenure ECS. Her leadership was recently recognised by her Cannabis industry peers by being awarded Cannabiz Business Leader of the Year for 2023.
Tony Dragacevic - In-person Capral Mr Dragacevic joined Capral in January 2013 and became the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 15 April 2013. Mr Dragicevich is an experienced CEO and business leader who has been involved in the improvement of a number of businesses, having previously served as Managing Director of the Wattyl Group, and as Chief Executive of GWA Bathroom and Fittings, Managing Director of the Red Paper Group and General Manager of Tasman Insulation.
Mathew Regan - In person CEO Artya Mr Regan is an experienced executive who has worked in a variety of Industries including ASX listed companies, Private Equity and Cooperatives.
He has worked in multi-disciplinary environments from supply chain and logistics to finance and trading and is skilled in business strategy, culture and human resources, information technology, cyber security, innovation, digital and artificial intelligence.
Mr Regan has a background of leading large information technology teams and delivering transformative change in large corporate environments.
He places a high value on combining education with practical experience having successfully completed post graduate placements at the University of Western Australia and Stanford, where he completed the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) focused on Business and Innovation.
Marc Barnett - Virtual CEO & Executive Director Flexiroam Prior to joining Flexiroam, Marc was the Chief Executive Officer of video-on-demand service iflix, until its acquisition by Tencent in 2020. Marc accelerated iflix’s growth to deliver 50 million app downloads, rapidly expanding the business to 32 markets spanning Asia, the Middle East & Africa. Marc has also held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Mi9 and ninemsn and was was named the Australian Financial Review Boss Magazine ‘Young Executive of the Year’ in 2014.
Julian Challingsworth - In-person Managing Director and CEO Spirit Technologies Julian is a proven leader of ASX-listed companies, with a strong professional service and corporate finance background. He has extensive experience managing enterprise, government, and critical infrastructure clients. During his most recent appointment as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Tesserent, Julian oversaw a period of significant growth achieved via acquisition and organic means.
In addition to advising over twenty organisations on growth acceleration strategies in Australia, Asia and Europe, Julian was a key driver in growing Litmus in Australia and internationally before PPB Advisory acquired it.
Julian was also a Director of Cordence Worldwide, a global consulting partnership with 2,800 consultants across 60+ locations. Julian combines a unique blend of business and accounting acumen, high-level growth and consolidation experience, and intimate knowledge of the Australian IT landscape.
Tim Grogan - In-person Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Biogene Tim brings more than 30 years’ experience and expertise to Bio-Gene, with a successful track record of delivering growth in the agtech, food and human health sectors. Tim has deep multi-disciplinary experience in the management of new product development, commercialisation, capital raising and corporate governance.
As a hands-on leader, Tim has held several key executive roles, specialising in product development, and expanding business partnerships. As CEO of SIRA Pty Ltd, Tim led the commercial development of technologies to produce new types of healthier sugar. Prior to this, Tim was the CEO of Dimerix BioScience Pty Ltd, a venture capital-funded medicinal drug discovery and development company, where he managed the development of a novel treatment for diabetic nephropathy and the company completed three substantial pharmaceutical partnering deals within 12 months and significantly expanded its investor base. Tim also has extensive listed company experience, including with pharmaceutical development company, Starpharma (ASX:SPL), where he worked to steer it through the IPO process and establishing several commercial relationships globally.
Most recently, Tim has been consulting to companies in the health and medical technology sectors in Australia, providing strategic, government and regulatory advice. Tim holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in chemistry, from the University of Melbourne.
Hugh Toll - In-person CEO and Executive Director Lynch Group Hugh was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of the Lynch Group in 2019 and sits on the Board of the Company as an Executive Director. Hugh began his management journey at the Lynch Group in 2017 as General Manager Business Development, before moving into the role of Group Chief Financial Officer in 2018. Hugh has an extensive banking and investing background spanning over 20 years, having previously been an Investment Director at Next Capital, an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Principal Investment Area and a Division Director at Macquarie Direct Investment. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
Ganesh Kumar Bangah - Virtual Executive Chairman Xamble Ganesh Kumar Bangah, Executive Chairman of the Company is an award-winning serial entrepreneur and startup investor. Ganesh was the Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia 2012 and one of Asia’s most influential people according to Society Magazine 2015. He was also recognised as one of South East Asia’s Top 30 Tech Founders by Tech In Asia in 2016 and was recognised as one of the most inspiring Malaysian technology entrepreneurs by Top 10 of Malaysia.
Ganesh founded Commerce.Asia, an all-in-one eCommerce cosystem in 2017. He grew Commerce. Asia within 5 years to have a database of over 8,400,000 SMEs across 7 countries with over 52,000 active sellers that sold USD1.4 billion worth of products in 2022.
Prior to founding Commerce.Asia, Ganesh founded his first internet business, MOL Global Inc. (“MOL”) in the year 2000 at the tender age of 20. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of MOL for 15 years since its inception. Ganesh was certified by the Malaysia Book of Records as the youngest Chief Executive Officer of a Malaysian public listed company when MOL was originally listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange in 2003. Ganesh built MOL to become one of South East Asia’s leading online payment gateways and South East Asia’s first internet company to be listed on the NASDAQ in 2014. He was also the founder of MOL Ventures, an investment holding company which made successful private investments in global social media companies such as Facebook and Friendster.
Ganesh is currently an Advisor and a former Chairman of the National Tech Association of Malaysia (“PIKOM”) as well as the Chair of Future Digital, the PIKOM Think Tank and Chair of E-Commerce Malaysia, a chapter of PIKOM. Ganesh is a member of the Entrepreneurship Council of the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation.
Billy Tucker - In-person Beonic Billy is an experienced leader with his career spanning technology, startup, private and listed companies. Prior to Beonic, Billy was the CEO of Oneflare and had spent almost a decade as a global executive in product and corporate development roles with Microsoft.
Ben Stockdale - Virtual Chief Financial Officer Sunrise Energy Ben is a financial and commercial executive with extensive mineral resources industry experience including project and corporate debt and equity financing, mergers and acquisitions and metals and concentrates marketing and logistics.
Over the past 20 years Ben has held a number of executive roles at public and private mining companies including MPI Mines Limited, Oxiana Limited, Citadel Resource Group and Unity Mines Limited. Ben is a graduate in commerce from Melbourne University and completed a post graduate diploma in applied finance and investment.
Kieran Pryke - In-person JatCorp Kieran holds and has held significant executive and non-executive roles as a Director and Chief Financial Officer across a range of companies, and is currently a Director of Boom Logistics Limited, GFM Investment Management Limited, Aura Medical Group Pty Limited, Ozharvest Limited, and Bisley & Company Pty Limited. He brings to his Board positions extensive expertise in financing, structuring and strategy, and is a CPA Australia Fellow and member of AICD.
Lawrence Lun - In-person Group Chief Executive Officer eCargo Lawrence has spent over the last 10 years bringing international brands into Asia, specifically Greater China, through eCommerce and digital activation. His experience spans across business strategy, brand marketing, eCommerce, IT development, cross-border logistics and content creation. Prior to taking up the role to lead eCargo, he spent a few years in Investment Banking, Digital Banking and Asset Management in Hong Kong and China, including setting up his own company, Zingly, focused on helping brands capture and utilise user generated contents. He strongly believes in driving a customer-centric business that ensures the company’s principals are capturing all opportunities available to generate value. “Sales lost today, is lost forever”.
Amos Simantov - Virtual Founder and CEO Way2Vat Amos has spent over 20 years as a top executive, including as CEO, president, and VP sales for major global high-tech enterprises, including SintecMedia, Rit Technologies, Lognet Systems, and ADI.
He specialises in SaaS platforms, FinTech, broadcast media, IT, and telecom.
Amos has a proven track record in leading companies to economic success, including several exits and successful M&As.
