Abstract:
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) is a framework designed to help executives, leaders and governing body members adopt sustainable practices that minimise environmental impact and prioritise social equity. The expert panel will discuss practical strategies to integrate ESG principles into aged care services. Join this webinar to hear the panel share their thoughts on:
- the relevance of ESG and climate sustainability to the aged care sector
- environmental initiatives, social responsibility, community engagement, and ethical practices in aged care
- climate risks and the associated impact on both residential and home services providers
- methods for employee engagement and training on ESG issues and how to measure and report on ESG
Integrating environmentally sustainable and socially equitable considerations into aged care operations is a strategic imperative. ESG can create opportunities to enhance a provider’s reputation, mitigate risks, and ultimately improve the quality of care for older Australians.
